Flaherty Drill Designs was created through a love and dedication to the marching arts and music education. Programming and designing field shows is an art form that can be exhilarating, transformative and fun—and we aim to assist you in all ways we can.

“My name is Kevin Flaherty, and I founded Flaherty Drill Designs in 2022 in my home state of New Jersey, in the middle of a thriving marching arts community. I am a former student of the University of Delaware, and of inspiring instructors such as Heidi Sarver, who gave me my beginner lessons in show design, and a passionate, caring environment to learn in with the Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band.

Since then, it has been my dream to give others the same feeling of excitement regarding the marching arts as I had, and still maintain to this day. The experience of show design and programming can be a transformative one, when working with the right partners. I hope to meet more members of this community in the future, and to work with you and your students on your next adventure. Take care!”
